About | Cast | Gallery | There Be Elves The Cast While the cast comes from a variety of television shows, movies, and stories, none are guaranteed to match their original incarnations. In fact, they'll probably differ in one way or another, but they'll still be essentially the same. In rough order from most important to least important and still largely incomplete. Please be patient! (Images coming soon.) |
Lady Duchess Empress Emperial Teal Atreides-Piett aka Em, Emi, Emiko, M'Lia, filia mea, Mi-wa, Mi-ma, and more... Existing somewhere in the boundary between the worlds is the mental entity known as Em. She's a bit of a space case (literally and figuratively) and envisions the world in which the rest of the cast lives. Her mind sustains everyone and everything in it. She's not perfect, though, being generally greedy and whiny and selfish and pretty mean. Yet she's also capable of immense compassion and empathy, and it's probably that more than anything else that caused the whole thing to happen. She is one of the Triad. Home Dimension: "Reality" |
Corvus Corvus, while not actually appearing in the story, is an important part of it. He was Em's old laptop and was reincarnated as a fairy. In short, he's the guide of the story, popping up from time to time to assist readers in understanding what's going on. Home dimension: "Reality"? |
Lord Admiral Djerod Andries Piett aka Kancho, Jer People say he's a stickler for the rules, but when your Empire's been destroyed, there's very little else to hang on to. The Admiral's usually a sullen fellow and has taken on the responsibility of, well, being responsible for Em. His idea about how Em should live her life often conflicts with reality, which leads to a lot of shouting matches between the two, but in the end it always does seem to work out, as Djerod can never hold a grudge for very long. Djerod is the leader of the Fourfathers, by unspoken arrangement, and can usually be seen with General Veers. Home dimension: Star Wars |
Marle aka Maruchan He's cute, he's cheerful, he's a compulsive thief and an excellent bard. Marle enjoys his role as comedic relief for the story, always ready with something to cheer the often grumpy cast up. He's also self-proclaimed fiancée of Em. Marle is actually one of the older residents of the Household in terms of how long he has lived there. Be careful, though -- he'll steal the pants off you when you're not looking. Home Dimension: Lodoss |
Talos Perdison aka Tally, Partridge Boy Talos is the resident genius inventor of the Household. He was originally an ancient Greek senshi, was killed by his uncle Daedalus, was reincarnated as a partridge, and finally regained his human form by betraying his friends in his home dimension. As a result, he's not very well-liked there. Em loves him a great deal, though, and when the two are together they seem to be connected at the hip. Talos isn't a very healthy person and is constantly coming down with colds or running fevers or simply dropping unconscious. He's also a bit crazy, prone to angry rages or near-suicidal depressions. Lord Daerinnid de Soto aka Daer, Sunshine He may have the nickname "Sunshine," but sunny is one thing Daerinnid is not. He's grumpy, greedy, evil, conniving, and easily annoyed. He's also probably the unluckiest man around. If it can go wrong, chances are it will for Daerinnid. He has a good side, but no one knows where it is or how to reach it. Daerinnid is an alchemist and herbalist by trade, though he dreams of becoming a great mage and conquering his home island. If only he could escape from Em, he might have a chance. Home Dimension: Keska, Imperial Secrets (original) |
Professor Severus Snape People say Snape is mean, and he is. They say he's jealous, and he is. They say a lot of things about Snape, and most of them are true. Snape is a... hmm... He's not a very happy person. His life just doesn't seem to be going very well for him, and he thought it was going to get a lot worse when he ran into Em. Thankfully it didn't. Kind of. Well, okay, so it did get a little worse in areas, and a little better in others. Snape teaches Potions at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. He really would rather teach Defense of the Dark Arts. Home Dimension: Harry Potter |
General Maximillian Veers aka Max, Milly When he's not glaring menacingly at people, he's cooking. Former Imperial officer General Veers had a family once. A wife and a son. Then his son ran off to join the Rebellion and was killed, and his wife committed suicide. So Max is rightfully nihilistic at times, and not-so-rightfully angry at others. Who can blame him? One of the Fourfathers. Home Dimension: Star Wars |
Trowa Barton aka Triton Bloom Calm and serious Trowa is noted for his ability to keep cool under almost any situation. A former Gundam pilot, no one is really certain what it is he does, but one thing is certain: his bond with Em is virtually unbreakable, weathered neither by time nor space nor circumstance. Trowa's not a very open person and often keeps his feelings and opinions to himself. He's also relatively quiet, choosing his words far more wisely than most of the other residents. Trowa is one of the Triad. Home Dimension: Gundam Wing |
Ken Ichijouji aka Kenny-kens, Kensuke Right off the bat, "Kensuke" does not refer to Daisuke/Ken coupling here. It is the name of a character from Neon Genesis Evangelion which has been attributed to Ken, mostly as a joke. Ken himself is a nice (albeit moody) fellow who could probably use some more social skills. He's smart (though is having trouble with this at the moment) and is almost always with his digimon partner Wormmon. Kensuke is a member of the Triad. Home Dimension: Digimon 02 |
Feodor Arschev aka Fey, Feyu, Oberarsch Good-natured, materialistic, womanizing thief Feodor is Em's "other brother," the one the patriarchs of the family like to pretend doesn't exist. He drinks and smokes and shamelessly flirts (while he's married). He's got his good points, of course. He's extremely personable, cares deeply for his friends, and is always willing to risk his neck to protect them, and while he's usually fun to be around, can also be a dead serious enforcer of the rules, especially when it concerns dimensional travel. Home dimension: There Be Elves |
Seifer Almasy aka Saisai He's arrogant, proud, and then arrogant some more, but according to Em, he's the best big brother ever. Has set up a permanent "house guard" to make sure unwanted things don't get in. Usually sits on the roof of the garage and keeps to himself. Home dimension: Final Fantasy VIII |
King Etoh Sweet, reasonable, generous Etoh is the second-oldest Household resident after Djerod. He is married to Fianna and rules a kingdom on his home island. Before he was a king, he was a healer, and it is in this capacity that he serves the Household. Probably the most humble person of them all. Home Dimension: Lodoss |
Kaioshin aka Shin, Supreme Kai, Bathtub Boy The Supreme Kai woke up one day and found himself sitting in a bath tub. From that moment, Shin was inexorably drawn into the tangled weave that is this story. He's very principled, honest, easily bewildered, and generally pleasant. Which is more than can be said for most everyone else. Home Dimension: Dragonball |
Queen Fianna Sweet and loving Fianna is one of those genuinely nice people you meet from time to time who seem to have an endless amount of love. She's everyone's mother when they need it. She's also the resident singer, her beautiful voice inspiring and charming the masses. Home dimension: Lodoss |
General Douglas Hein aka Doug Generals Veers and Hein share a few striking similarities. Doug once had a family as well, but his wife and daughter were killed by malignant alien space ghosts. (Hey! I'm not making this up!) Doug's hard to fathom, possessing a mean demeanor that gives way to odd moments of helplessness. It took him a very long time to get to any point of positive expression, having been very angry for a very long time, but he's slowly coming around. Home Dimension: Final Fantasy the Movie |
Sally Po It's been said that Sally is "one of the guys," and Sally's not one to argue on the subject. She is the only female member of the Fourfathers and likes it that way. Helps enforce the laws of the Fourfathers since she's well-liked and people listen to her. One of the many voices of calm in the Household. Enjoys teasing General Veers. Home Dimension: Gundam Wing |
Lieutenant Atri Durris aka Ates Lieutenant may not be the most impressive of ranks, but rest assured, Atri is the most impressive of people. He was raised by EmileAmai after his father, a friend of hers, perished in battle. He's an expert assassin and EmileAmai's personal bodyguard. Atri is a very perceptive person who knows when it's time to be serious and time to play around. Polite, respectful, and funny. Home dimension: Star Wars (original) |
Captain Tuthau gian Fourdr Tuthau has been many things. From staunch defender to innocent bungler, he's an agreeable sort of fellow with a good sense of humor, a desire to help whenever possible, and the ability to trip over a piece of dust. This makes him the laughingstock of the Imperial Army. He's best friends with Atri. Home dimension: Star Wars (original) |
Lady Admiral EmileAmai Piett At one time, EmileAmai (pronounced "em-lay-mai") was thought to be an incarnation of Emiko, but she's clearly not. The cousin of Djerod, EmileAmai is a very caustic woman who's not afraid or anyone or anything. She speaks her mind and gets to the point. Very dangerous and not one to be trifled with. She loves art and music passionately. Home Dimension: Star Wars (original) |
